General

Stride For Good is a fundraising event organised by Bethesda CARE Centre (BCARE). Funds raised will go towards supporting BCARE’s work in the community, especially with underprivileged and vulnerable groups. Our beneficiaries include children from low-income families, seniors who are frail or isolated and persons with mental health conditions (e.g. bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, depression).

Stride for Good comprises both virtual and physical events.
Virtual Event
Join us as a Fundraiser
  • Fundraising period: 15 August 2025 to 15 November 2025
  • Challenge: Walk / Jog / Cycle / Skate 60 km to commemorate SG60
  • Venue: Anywhere and anytime within the fundraising period
  • Fundraisers are required to set up a campaign page under our main page at give.asia/sfg25
Physical Walk or Jog
Join us at our Physical Event
  • Date: 18 October 2025
  • Time: 7.30 – 11.00 am
  • Distance: 3 km or 5 km
  • Venue: Punggol Coast Mall
Registration
  • Fundraisers: No registration required. Fundraisers can set up their page directly on give.asia/sfg25
  • Physical Walk or Jog: 15 August 2025 to 10 October 2025

There is no age limit.

All participants aged 12 and below, as of 18 October 2025, must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All participants aged 16 years and below, as of 18 October 2025, must obtain consent from parent or guardian.

Fundraisers
There are no registration fees.

Physical Walk or Jog Event

Children aged 6 and below join for free.

Please note that registration is required for all participants.
You will receive an email confirmation to your registered email address upon successful registration.
This could be due to:

Fundraisers
Fundraisers who raise $300 and above will receive a special seed medal.

You can use any fitness tracker e.g. smartwatch, Strava app. Upload screenshots of your distance covered onto your campaign page. Please ensure that your screenshots do not contain any personal information.
  1. You can share your fundraising efforts with your family and friends by sending them the link to your page.

    Here is a suggested message template:

    “Hello! I’ve joined BCARE’s Stride for Good fundraising event. BCARE is a social service agency that supports the community, especially underprivileged and vulnerable groups. They serve lower-income families, seniors and persons with mental health conditions.

    As part of the campaign, I will be walking / jogging / cycling / skating [please choose] [number] km. I hope that you can support my fundraising efforts by visiting my page and making a donation: [insert your campaign url]”
  2. Update your campaign page
    We encourage you to post updates to connect with your supporters. Updates can include:
    1. Screenshots of the distance covered on your walk / run / cycle / skate. Please ensure that your screenshots do not contain any personal information.
    2. Photos of your exercise activity.
    3. Messages on what motivates you to join this campaign or words of encouragement to others.
Physical Walk or Jog Event
Unfortunately, participants are only allowed to register for one category.
You will receive a Stride for Good T-shirt and a gift pack. Gift packs will be given on the event day.
There is no bag deposit area.
Photography and/or videography will be taken during the event for publicity purposes and BCARE reserves the right to use any photographs, motion picture, recording, or any other record of the run for any legitimate purpose.
Yes, it is. Part of the route includes Coney Island where the ground may be uneven. Participants are to take extra care. There will be route marshals along the way to guide and look out for participants.
In the event of inclement weather, BCARE reserves the right to delay the commencement of the walk or jog. Should the inclement weather persist after delay, BCARE reserves the right to organise an indoor exercise session or cancel the event without any refund.
Please approach the route marshals deployed along the race route if you require immediate medical attention.
There will be route marshals deployed to manage the crowd and look out for the safety of participants. The first aid team and ambulance will be on stand-by on site. If any participant requires assistance during the race, please approach any of the staff or volunteers.
Pets are not permitted at this event.
T-shirt and Gift Pack Collection
Collection will be from 11 to 14 October 2025. More details will be shared closer to date.
You will receive an email 1-2 weeks before the collection period.
Yes, you may authorise someone to collect on your behalf. The authorised person must submit the completed softcopy or hardcopy authorisation form on the collection day. BCARE will not release T-shirts to unauthorised person without the supporting documents.
Refunds
Unfortunately, registration fees are non-refundable and participation slots are strictly non-transferable.
